Responsibilities

Contract Drafting & Review
-Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents and contracts.
-Ensure that all legal documents align with regulatory requirements and company objectives.
Trade Settlement & Securities Transfers
-Oversee and manage trade settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
-Handle securities transfers and related documentation.
-Coordinate with custodians, brokers, and other financial institutions to ensure smooth transactions.
Innovative Structure Development
-Collaborate with the legal and business teams to develop innovative financial structures.
-Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the creation of new financial products.
Regulatory Compliance
-Assist in managing Securities and Exchange Commission and state regulatory filings.
-Analyze information contained in fund offering documents to prepare regulatory filings.
Client Interaction
-Interact with clients on a daily basis regarding contract negotiations and regulatory filing requirements.
-Provide support to clients in understanding and utilizing our financial products.
Internal Collaboration
-Work closely with Liqueous LP attorneys and other team members to gather information and prepare regulatory filings.
-Maintain and update internal systems and databases related to legal and regulatory matters.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Minimum of 4-7 years of experience at a demanding law firm, hedge fund, or in-house legal department with a focus on securities law, structured finance and transactions.
Extensive experience with hedge funds, offering documents, and filings with the SEC.
Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
No college degree required - experience equivalent acceptable.

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel and work long hours, including some weekends as needed.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
