**This position is hiring for both the San Francisco and Sacramento Offices**
Overview:
We have exclusively partnered with an AM 100 global law firm looking to hire a Labor and Employment Associate! You will be consulting fortune 500 companies, working specifically on Labor and Employment cases and this firm focuses specifically on employer defense. This company is extremely stable, holds a good name, will give you great client exposure, and offers flexibility and a hybrid work schedule.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Qualified candidates will be comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting, and arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients on various labor and employment issues, including wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.
- From day one you will be working directly with clients.
- Working on the defense side specifically for labor and employment cases.
- Litigation is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Must be barred in California
- Labor and employment background
- Significant Litigation experience
- Coming from mid to large sized firms is a plus!
