Packaging Engineer with Consumer-Packaged Goods Experience
My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new six month plus Packaging Engineer opportunity available for a major firm with offices located in Hackettstown and Newark, New Jersey that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below and I am available at any time to speak with you so please feel free to call me. The work schedule will be hybrid, three days a week in the office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and two days remote to either of the firms offices. The ideal candidate must possess CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) experience.
This position pays $43.50 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis.
Responsibilities:
Must be skilled in flexible film, paperboard, corrugated materials and have capable understanding of both flexible FFS and horizontal flow wrap equipment.
Experience in packaging prime cost savings is a plus.
Must have fast paced CPG packaging development experience.
Must be able to navigate complex specification systems.
Must be confident in functional team settings.
Packaging material development.
Die line creation.
Autonomous ability to plan and run line trials.
Effective Communication.
Requirements for this role:
Two to five years of Packaging Engineering experience
HFFS: Horizontal Form, Fill and Seal Packaging
VFFS: Vertical Form Fill Seal Flexible films
Line trials
