Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Englewood Cliffs NJ, on site 5 days - Summer work from home Fridays.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Develop full-scale project plans.
- Assemble and coordinate project staff.
- Manage project budget.
- Manage project resource allocation.
- Plan and schedule project timelines.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Provide direction and support to the project team.
- Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Project evaluations and assessment of results.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management in the IT sector.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
