Our client is currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our manufacturing processes meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. You will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, implementing Lean methodologies, and keeping ISO certifications. Your ability in process improvement and quality control will be vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Oversee and manage the quality control processes across all aspects of manufacturing operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing Lean methodologies and conducting regular process audits.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance data to find areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of quality improvement projects.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, supplying guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Manage the ISO certification process, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and coordinating internal and external audits.
- Establish and keep strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues related to product quality, collaborating closely with the customer service and production teams.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality assurance and process improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles, Lean methodologies, continuous improvement (CI) techniques, and ISO standards.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to find root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing and leading a team of quality assurance professionals.
