We are looking for a General Assistant role that involves managing mail operations, including incoming, outgoing, and interoffice packages, as well as supporting disbursement tasks like printing checks and invoices.

Duties:
Responsible for handling incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail (including executed packages and returned checks) and completing disbursement tasks by printing checks & invoices.
Essential Functions:
Process all incoming and outgoing envelopes and packages from services such as United Parcel Service and Federal Express, and any overnight delivery.
Determine and affix postage and maintain records on postage, registered mail, and packages.
Scan executed buyer/seller packages and original documents into digital files.
Assist with disbursements by printing checks, invoices, printing labels, and packaging for sending.
May coordinate delivery of documents to record management/shredding companies.
Monitor mailroom supply volume and request additional copy paper/check stock/envelopes/paperclips when needed.
May perform other administrative tasks such as ordering and storing office supplies, filing correspondence and other documents, sending and receiving faxes, photocopying and doing computer data entry.
Skills:
Attention to detail & accuracy in data entry & administrative work
Sense of urgency when processing outbound funds & mail in order to meet daily cut off times
Ability to use 2-3 software applications concurrently
Comfortable working independently onsite with minimal guidance
Able to follow written instructions
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
