Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and develop new initiatives concerning compliance and regulatory matters.
- Oversee and manage the firm’s comprehensive compliance program, driving initiatives on emerging compliance topics.
- Review and approve external communications, including marketing materials.
- Prepare regulatory filings and ensure the firm is fully prepared for any potential SEC examinations.
- Act as a resource for investment professionals and external counsel, participating in Investment Committee meetings.
- Manage projects involving third-party service providers and oversee vendor due diligence.
- Conduct reviews and testing of compliance processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of compliance experience within a private equity fund (strong preference), venture capital firm, traditional asset manager, compliance consultancy, or the SEC.
- A J.D. is preferred but not mandatory.
- A strong desire to lead a compliance program and work in a compliance-focused role.

Compensation: $175-250k base and $350-500k all-in (dependent on experience)
