Our client is currently seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join their Financial Services Department. This role is crucial for managing and overseeing all aspects of client account analysis and billing. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and administer all facets of client account analysis and billing.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel proficiently.
- Effectively use legal billing software applications, with a specific emphasis on 3E software.
- Manage electronic third-party billing applications, interpret complex billing guidelines, and handle e-bills requiring appeals due to deductions or specialty legal billing issues.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently, manage high-volume billing, and professionally address challenges under pressure.
- Be prepared to work extended hours when necessary to meet client and firm deadlines.
Requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) years of legal billing experience in a law firm or a professional services environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal billing software, particularly 3E.
- Demonstrated experience with electronic third-party billing applications.
- Ability to understand complex billing guidelines, manage e-bill appeals, and address specialty billing needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach to handling high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet deadlines.
