Contract Legal Assistant
Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay Range: $27 to $30
Position Type: Full-Time, Contract (12-months), Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite)
LHH is seeking a Contract Legal Assistant to join the legal team in San Francisco, CA, on a temporary basis for a duration of 6 months. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with various legal tasks, including data migration, vetting, and corporate document "backfill". This position will report directly to a Senior Paralegal and an Attorney, providing essential support in a corporate law environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with data migration processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of legal information.
- Conduct vetting processes on legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Support in the organization and maintenance of corporate documents, including drafting and editing as necessary.
- Collaborate with legal team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of tasks.
- Perform legal research as directed by senior staff.
- Provide administrative support to lawyers and paralegals as needed, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- Paralegal certification is a plus.
- 2 years of legal administrative experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
