Position Overview:
The Associate Recruiter will support the recruitment team by sourcing, screening, and placing candidates for various client roles. This position offers a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will work closely with your team of recruiters and account managers to understand client needs and help build strong candidate pipelines. You will also be involved in networking, relationship building, and ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of roles across industries.
- Assist senior recruiters in understanding client needs and developing recruitment strategies.
- Use job boards, social media, and other sourcing tools to identify potential candidates.
- Build and maintain a candidate database for current and future job opportunities.
- Conduct initial candidate interviews and present qualified candidates to senior recruiters.
- Collaborate with clients to schedule interviews, provide feedback, and manage expectations throughout the hiring process.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the hiring process.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, major in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 2 or more years of experience in sales, recruitment, human resources, or a related field (internships or related experience may be considered).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Keen ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
