Automation/Controls Engineer (Located in Denver, CO or willing to relocate)
Travel to Job Site - 50%+
Experience: Installation and commissioning, PLC, Fanuc Robots - Let's Talk!
Responsibilities:
- Work directly under the Electrical/Control Manager
- Prepare and review PLC and robot programs.
- Have experience with Allen-Bradley PLC, Siemens PLC and Fanuc Robots
- Prepare and review electrical drawings with AutoCAD Electrical
- Travel regularly to project sites to supervise installation and wiring of automated equipment, commission equipment and their associated programs, and train operators.
- Act as main interface with customer for after sales service (remote or on-site assistance), perform site surveys, and supervise/organize performance acceptance tests of installed equipment.
- Analyze and solve problems - mechanical/electrical
- Supervise and train customer operators on-site.
- Able to work in an international environment and travel domestically and internationally
The successful candidate must meet at least the following criteria:
- Control, Electrical or Robotic engineering background, 3 to 5 years of experience
- Experience programming with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
- A working knowledge of FANUC robot programming
- Have a curious mind and be interested by all aspect of an automated handing system (robots, controls, mechanical, functionality).
- Have the knowledge to read, design or improve electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
