Senior Project Manager - General Contracting
A Senior Project Manager (SPM) is assigned to provide leadership for the project team assigned to the project(s). The SPM has the Authority, Responsibility and Accountability for completing multiple projects while coordinating all required departmental and operational support. SPMs lead division and department assigned personnel and resources to ensure that multiple quality projects are produced on time and within budget. SPMs, Project Managers and Construction Managers jointly direct many work flow segments and jointly approve many decisions regarding project timelines, cost and performance.
Qualifications
1. Experience – Fifteen (15) years’ experience within electrical / construction industry.
2. Business Development skillset to allow for capture / retainage of customer & vendor base.
3. Leadership / Coaching – Ability to work with diverse programs, departments, and other managers with integrity. Influential and approachable to allow for aligning assigned personnel with the strategic goals and mission statement.
4. Organizational / Time - Management -- must have impeccable time management and organizational skills, while being able to mentor / train those within the program to become excellent.
5. Labor units – ability to source and learn labor untis for assigned work
6. Computer Skills – HCSS, Database, Excel, and ability to work within accounting system to interpret and analyze complex business analytics.
