Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team. This role involves managing various administrative tasks while delivering exceptional service to our patients. Key responsibilities include handling paperwork, greeting and registering patients, verifying insurance and personal information, and coordinating with both patients and medical staff to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Obtain and verify patient insurance details, personal information, and required signatures, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Confirm the accuracy of appointments scheduled by the call center.
- Collect and record co-pays and other fees.
- Answer and appropriately transfer incoming phone calls.
- Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments as needed; confirm appointments and inform staff of any changes.
- Provide patients with necessary orientation regarding preparatory and safety protocols, and offer directions to facilities if required.
- Collaborate with back-office staff to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of front and back office operations.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage extensive paperwork and identify errors.
- Proficient in intermediate to advanced computer skills.
- Strong multitasking and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in providing outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and recent experience in a medical or radiology office setting is preferred.

- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
