Job Description:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing our client’s mechanical construction, commercial construction and HVAC projects. We are seeking an experienced professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality results within budget and on schedule. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mechanical construction, commercial construction and HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate seamless project execution and communication.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources allocation plans.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, change orders, RFIs, and submittals using Procore and Bluebeam software.
- Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams, fostering a positive work environment and culture of accountability.
- Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the mechanical construction, commercial construction or HVAC industry.
- Primavera is a plus
- Proven track record of successfully managing small and large-scale commercial projects ranging from $5000 to $20 million in project size.
- Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam software for project management and document control.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
