Aegis is partnering with a company who is looking for a Director of Procurement to come join their team!
Base Salary: 150k-175k DOE and Industry
Bonus-20% company performance bonus
Will Provide relocation assistance for any out of state candidates!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies domestically and internationally
- Identifying potential suppliers worldwide
- Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure best cost and quality
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers
- Planning, coordinating and collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to maintain project timelines and improve design for manufacture on all sourced products
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends to identify changes in costs and potential new sources
- Ensure compliance with international trade law
- Oversee the supply chain performance, generating KPI’s to measure effectiveness
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
Excellent negotiation skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel up to 50%
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in sourcing, preferably in a leadership role
