Tandym Group has several immediate opportunities for A/R Collections Specialists with a client in New York. These contracts will be 100% remote. These resources will be focused on collections, billing and follow up specifically using Athena and IDX.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of revenue cycle experience focused on Collections, Follow up and Billing
- Experience with Claim Edits.
- Experience with Denials.
- Need full-lifecycle experience working denials from start to resolution
- Experience with Appeals.
- Need full-lifecycle experience working appeals from start to resolution, creating appeals letters, etc.
- Experience with Athena software
- Need experience working claims, doing collections/follow-up using IDX Athena system
- Experience with both commercial and government payers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possesses a proactive and metrics driven approach
- Understanding of most effective ways to handle work-queues
- Proven experience clearing 80+ accounts per day
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with New York State claims
- Experience working with cancer claims
- Experience working with transplant claims
