Executive Personal Assistant to Principal, Fashion Merchandiser, Suffolk County, New York/Hybrid
A fashion merchandiser that specializes in evening gowns is looking for a true “right hand” to help manage her very busy life personally and professionally. The principal has showroom space in NYC and has a home near West Hampton. This will be a hybrid role with the candidate living preferably near West Hampton, working primarily at home with the ability to meet up with the principal as needed as well as run errands. This is an exciting position to support a very dynamic entrepreneur. An interest in fashion is helpful.
About the Job:
¨ Support the Principal as a “right hand” and “Gatekeeper” handling all day-to-day matters including managing a very busy calendar, personal and professional; keep track of the principals children’s schedules, Dr appointments, school events and the like
¨ Prioritize emails and respond on the principals behalf
¨ Log all information into inventory system to keep track of styles, where they were sold and all other pertinent information to keep track of all merchandise
¨ Handle travel arrangements personal and professional
Handle special events, personal and professional
¨ Personal work; run errands, order items off Amazon and Instacart on the principal’s behalf
¨ Handle expense reporting personal and professional
¨ Update and manage client database
¨ Overall be the “go to” for any administrative needs, personal and professional, as needed

About You:
¨ A minimum of 3 years of experience as an assistant supporting a busy executive, personally and professionally. Someone in the retail clothing space desired but not required
¨ Bachelor’s Degree
¨ Very detail oriented with the ability to change gears quickly - a true multi-tasker
¨ High level of integrity and discretion in handling all confidential information
¨ Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
¨ A warm, positive “can do, personality
¨ Very organized, detail-oriented with a “no job too small” attitude
