Our client, a leading provider of high-performance, custom-engineered interconnect solutions, is seeking a Process Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will support engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to effectively translate new product requirements into efficient manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and optimize production efficiency.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial/mechanical engineering, electrical engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of prior applicable experience
- Experience with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred) and eagerness to learn new software
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Manufacturing automation and/or PLC programming abilities/knowledge a plus

- Ability to interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and customer specifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively across all company functions—Engineering, Quality, and Production.
- Exceptional time management and project coordination skills, able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Self-motivated and innovative, with a creative approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review customer drawings, specifications, and requirements to ensure product manufacturability and optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with the design review team to develop and scale production processes from prototype to full-scale manufacturing.
- Develop sampling plans and test methodologies for new products, working closely with Quality Assurance.
- Establish manufacturing routings and labor standards for new products; update existing routings to reflect actual manufacturing processes.
- Assist in new product development by working with engineering and quality teams on Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), PFMEAs, Control Plans, and other essential documentation.
- Design and implement work instructions to optimize process flow, reduce variability, and improve process capability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, sharing lessons learned and providing training to other engineers on optimized processes.
