- Running day-to-day company operations
- Implementing/managing marketing and ticketing strategies with our marketing and ticketing partners
- Managing contractors/vendors as we design, build, and open our exhibit - include hiring, contract execution, payment, oversight

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned operations executive with a proven track record in scaling startups, particularly in the location based entertainment/immersive experiences sector. As COO, you will work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and ensure that our ambitious vision is executed flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the company, ensuring that all departments work seamlessly together to achieve our strategic goals.
• Scalability: Develop and implement operational systems and processes that support the company’s growth, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and quality.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of professionals across multiple departments, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Financial Management: Collaborate with the CFO to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning, ensuring the company’s financial health and sustainability.
• Project Management: Oversee the successful execution of all immersive experiences, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and exceed customer expectations.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s long-term strategy, identifying new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
• Customer Experience: Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring that every aspect of our operations is geared towards delivering an exceptional experience.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the business and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company remains agile and adaptable in a fast-paced industry.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of immersive entertainment.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 5-10 years of operational leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within the location based entertainment or immersive experiences industry.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading and scaling teams in a high-growth startup environment.
• Operational Excellence: Strong background in building and optimizing operational processes, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
• Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
• Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects from concept to completion, on time and within budget.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable plans.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with the ability to pivot as needed.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
• Detail Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify potential issues before they arise and ensure the highest standards of quality across all operations.
• G-Suite Proficiency: Proficient in Google Workspace (G-Suite) tools, including Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive, with the ability to leverage these tools for efficient team collaboration and data management.
