VP, Investments | PE-backed owner/operator | Dallas
We are working with a leading PE-backed developer/owner/operator of CRE infrastructure that is actively seeking a VP to join their fast-paced Investments team, and support growth across their multibillion-dollar portfolio of diversified real estate holdings (US and international).
This is a comprehensive, wide-breadth role, reporting directly to the CIO, and will act as commercial lead on all new projects and developments in the US, with indirect oversight of investments in Europe. While this individual will not be responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, they will be leading a team overseeing all underwriting and due diligence, with significant internal/external stakeholder interface - including with PE sponsors and capital partners.
Our client is an industry leader that continues to raise capital, deploy capital, and outperform its peers year-over-year, with ambitions to double the portfolio over the next five years - and this would be an opportunity to be a part of that growth.
Experience:
- 10-15 years of progressive CRE investments experience in an institutional environment, ideally for a large operator, investment manager, or IB/PE firm.
- BS/BA in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related major, from top-tier university
- International deal experience is a plus
- Experience working in cross functional environments, as well as managing relationships with external sponsors
- Someone with a board presence, and a strong people manager
