Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (MES/QAD)
Location: Fully onsite nearby Downey, CA (only considering local candidates)
Employment Type: Direct-Hire
Compensation: $85,000 to $100,000 (based on experience)

Job Purpose:
Work with users and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand business processes and specific uses of business applications in meeting operational needs.
Tasks/Essential Duties :
- Supports business application users, reviewing and resolving process and application issues.
- Serves as liaison between local entity and Corporate ERP-IT team.
- Develop proposals and implementation plans for business system resolutions to user needs including resources required (personnel and costs) to execute.
- Drive business system application related projects, to deliver against committed schedules.
- Resolving or escalating issues as needed.
- Regularly meet with managers and users to evaluate business system performance and as needed develop and recommend improvements.
- Develop necessary knowledge base to become the subject matter expert (SME) in the interconnectedness of various business applications (QAD, QAD EQMS, MES, etc).
Requirements:
- A bachelor degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Hands on experience with SQL or other database platforms
- Knowledge of Maintaining and Handling of ERP, MES and Quality Systems (QAD and QAD EQMS)
- Knowledge of integrated and bolt-on Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and quality systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
