Job Summary:
Dexian is seeking a CMC PM for an opportunity with a client located in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and executing long- and short-term plans for projects related to combination products, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines while facilitating all project management schedule activities
- Delegating tasks on the project to team members best positioned to complete them, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between cell and device teams
- Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
- Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) operations
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs for the project change, while closely collaborating with project managers responsible for leading all scale-up activities
- Coordinating with workstream leads to relay recommendations, decisions, actions, and other pertinent information
- Effectively summarizing key information such as program progress, timeline updates, and risk/opportunity assessments for periodic presentations to management
Requirements:
- Possesses in-depth knowledge and understanding of the drug development process, including manufacturing, scale-up, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks, manage budgets, and track project progress
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or other similar software, to manage complex projects and timelines
- Proficiency in using project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or MS Planner
- Familiarity with automation tools such as PowerBI and SharePoint to streamline processes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and goals to various team members
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
