A reputable law firm based in Downtown LA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a temporary position. The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in MS Excel, accounting, and data entry, with a proven track record of being a quick learner who consistently produces accurate and high-quality work. While prior experience with legal billing software or law practice management software is a plus, it is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and manage data related to client onboarding, billing, and other administrative tasks.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage, analyze, and report on various data sets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with basic accounting tasks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciling accounts, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including organizing documents, managing files, and assisting with client correspondence.
- Consistently produce accurate work with a focus on detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- (Preferred) Experience with legal billing software and/or law practice management software to assist with client data management, billing processes, and other related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, with experience in accounting and data entry.
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate and high-quality work consistently.
- Proven track record of quickly learning new systems and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation:
$20/hr. - $25/hr. depending on relevant experience
