Job Description
The CFO Consultant must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all the administrative departments of the organization and the accounting team will be under their command. Experience working in publicly traded companies is required. Top candidates have 10+ years’ CFO experience, in a public company.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the finance team fostering a collaborative work environment.
Maintain a strong cross functional relationship with the executive team.
Develop, implement, and monitor the strategic business plan.
Develop and manage financial operations, capital budgets, and forecasts.
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define the financial strategies that align with the organization's goals.
- Manage cash flow and ensure it is appropriate for the organization’s guidelines.
- Manage capital structure and fund raising.
- Develop performance measurements and monitoring that supports the company’s strategic direction.
- Ensure the company is in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Set and maintain a strong, consistent controlled environment with responsibility for SOX oversight.
- Report financial results to the executive team, and audit committee.
- Prepare and conduct earnings call and investor communications.
Required skills and experience:
- Advanced degree in accounting or finance or related field.
- 10+ years working for a public company as a CFO.
