LHH is working with a manufacturer in Mesquite, TX seeking a Quality Manager
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.
M-F 8a to 5p, 100% onsite
Note: The client can accept TN NAFTA Professionals, but no other type of Visa candidacy
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain inspection process and PPAP procedures
- Quality Quarantines
- Nonconforming products
- Quality Control Plans
- Calibration Standards
- Lead complaint and failure investigations, determine root cause and execute corrective action
- Hire, manage, and train staff
- Manage vendors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be able to implement improvements at production floor level.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, primarily capability studies; Lean Manufacturing; SPC; and ISO framework.
- Ability to manage multiple QA special projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to create daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to ownership.
- Six Sigma green-belt preferred
