Job Title: Senior Equipment Technician
Summary: The Senior Equipment Technician at CIG Solar Manufacturing is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems of manufacturing equipment. This role ensures that all equipment is functioning optimally to support production efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Address any equipment issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, semiconductor.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.

- Identify and diagnose issues in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Perform necessary repairs to restore equipment functionality.
- Document all troubleshooting and repair activities.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols during repairs.
- SOP for Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
- Provide safety training to equipment operators.
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities.
- SOP for Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all records are stored securely and accessible as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures for documentation and record keeping.
- SOP for Continuous Improvement:
- Use data and feedback to identify areas for improvement in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Develop and implement action plans for improvement.
- Monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of improvements.
- Document all changes and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
