As a Senior Sourcing & Contracts Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Category Manager and business partners to execute the category strategy, focusing on sourcing and contracting for category-specific suppliers. Your role will encompass all stages of managing sourcing events (RFXs), including supplier RFX development, leading supplier meetings, providing subject matter expertise throughout the sourcing process, and analyzing and recommending supplier proposals. You will also be responsible for negotiating, structuring, and managing contractual documents that establish and maintain business relationships with suppliers within the Software & Applications/SaaS categories.
Additionally, you will be tasked with negotiating and implementing new contracts that are not the result of a sourcing event, as well as developing statements of work and amending existing agreements. A key part of your role will be to ensure that vendor risk, diversity, and management requirements are integrated and adhered to throughout the sourcing process. Your focus will be on identifying and driving cost efficiencies to achieve all savings targets.
Qualifications:
- 5 - 7+ years of demonstrated experience in Purchasing, Commercial Contract Negotiation, and Supplier Management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software, Cloud, or SaaS procurement
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, decision-making, and customer relationship management skills
- Proven experience in developing and executing sourcing events, from inception to contract completion
- Comprehensive experience managing the full contract lifecycle, including Agreements, Statements of Work, Amendments, and renewals, for all category suppliers
- Broad experience in supply chain, procurement, contracts, and project management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in purchasing systems, category management, and strategic sourcing methodologies
