CONTRACT TO HIRE

The Phillip Charles Group has been servicing the local metro Detroit area for the past 30 years and has built incredibly strong partnerships with our clients, candidates and employees. We have worked with our current client for the past 14 years and they are looking for a strong Office Manager for a possible Contract to Hire opportunity based out of their Romulus, Mi. location.
Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Managing Union vacation schedule
- Accounts payable and receivable (not high volume)
- Order entry - creating PDFs
- Adding employees to insurance as well as Cobra benefits
- Manual filing
- Experience with Bills of Lading
- Inputting hours for payroll
- Excel and Word
- Update invoices
- Supply Ordering
- Answer and Transfer calls
8:00am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday $20-25

Office Manager Qualifications/Skills:
- High School degree, or GED equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred or experience in a related field
- Requires 1 to 3 years of office management experience.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees and customers.
- Ability to handle time sensitive data
- Strong understanding and knowledge of word and excel, and Business-related operations software is preferred.
