Job Summary
Green Dragon Florida has a vertically integrated supply chain that includes long lead packaging materials, unpredictable plants, and dynamic customer demands. The Supply Chain Senior Analyst is tasked with working with all the stakeholders to take proactive steps to keep the supply chain in balance. The core day-to-day function of the role will be focused on finished goods allocation to our soon-to-be 40+ stores, but the success of this position will depend on critical thinking and analytical skills. A curious mindset is key to understanding the complex and nuanced nature of our supply chain. A combination of advanced data skills and strong interpersonal skills will be a major asset to this role. The Supply Chain Senior Analyst will synthesize insights to drive changes in store assortment, pricing, and promotions. This position will report directly to the VP of Finance & Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage internal sales orders based on inventory forecasts and demand patterns.
- Manages external supplier relationships for the purpose of restocking accessories and non-cannabis goods at the centralized distribution center
- Maintains the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation
- Review and manipulate SQL and Python code in Mode Analytics on a weekly basis to generate a suggested allocation of finished goods across the retail network
- Utilize data visualization tools in Mode and Tableau to extract insights, adjust inventory allocations, and achieve optimal supply levels across the supply chain
- Write and modify basic SQL queries to investigate inventory and sales data
- Monitor and manage inventory during promotions and special campaigns to ensure availability and optimize sales
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate inventory performance, trends, and actionable insights to stakeholders
- Prepares cost estimates and manages budgets
- Works to improve purchasing systems and processes.
- Completes other projects and duties as assigned not included herein.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a supply chain analyst, purchasing analyst, or relevant experience in a similar position; preferably within the cannabis, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industries
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices, including inventory control, forecasting, and demand planning
- Experience in building internal orders and managing inventory through ERP systems is highly desirable with Odoo's experience being a bonus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and present findings to stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and purchasing software
- Ability to work independently within a hybrid, in-person, and remote organization
