PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Corporate Physical Security Office is responsible for ensuring the physical safety of employees and safeguard high value computer components from theft and espionage. The Security Agent Supervisor reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization. The Supervisor ensures the Security Agents are in compliance with the rules, regulations, and directives of the office of Corporate Security Management. Additionally, this position ensures behavior in the security organization meets the company’s Standards of Conduct.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as communication channel to receive and direct compliance issues from the office of Corporate Security resources for investigation and resolution.
- Monitor and report results of the compliance/ethics efforts of the company and provide guidance to Quanta Computer Security Agents on matters relating to compliance.
- Enforce and maintain policies and procedures directed by the Corporate Security Office for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
- Review Standards of Conduct and provide guidance to Quanta Computer Security Agents to ensure compliance with Corporate Security Office directives.
- Collaborate with Corporate Deputy Security Manager to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
- Consult with the Office of Corporate Security as needed to implement new compliance issues.
- Investigate alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct and report all violations to the Deputy Security Manager.
- Ensure compliance issues/concerns within Quanta Computer - Nashville are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
- Monitor, and as necessary, coordinate compliance activities of other shifts to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks.
- Develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
- Provide reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the Corporate Deputy Security Manager informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
- Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations to Corporate Deputy Security Manager as appropriate and/or required.
- Institute and maintain an effective compliance communication program for Corporate Quanta Computer Security, including promoting (a) use of the Open Door Policy (b) heightened awareness of Standards of Conduct, and (c) understanding of new and existing compliance issues and related policies and procedures.
- Mentor and train Security Agents.
- Fill open positions of Security Agents on a temporary basis as needed.
- Conduct static security and vehicle roving patrols.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification; Associate Degree or higher preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in a similar role.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to move around a production facility and travel between buildings on a regular basis
- Ability to view a computer screen for long periods and monitor for compliance
- Ability to distinguish between colors
- Ability to speak, read and write English fluently, bi-lingual in Spanish or other languages preferred.
