Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Inspectors in Santa Clarita, CA.
As a Quality Inspector III, you will work independently to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for mechanical and assembly inspection.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the site by serving as a SME in mechanical or assembly inspections
- Evaluate non-conformance issues and provide feedback for corrective actions.
- Independently create AS9102 reports
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Quality Inspector
- 5+ years’ Aerospace experience
- Shop math and GD&T comprehension
- Mechanical Assembly Inspection processes
- Advanced competencies using a wide range of inspection tools and processes
Working conditions:
- Standing, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting
- Lifting and handling objects up to 40 pounds
- Standing for 10-12 hour shifts
Pay: $49/hr ST; $73.50/hr OT
Expected duration is 5+ months (possibility of extension).
