LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a prominent law firm in New York, is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to join their team.
This position is hybrid – 3 days in office.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and filing pleadings and other legal documents
- Supporting attorneys focused on Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 matters in NY and NJ bankruptcy courts
- Handling case management
- Tracking deadlines
- Corresponding with clients and courts
- Assisting with hearing and trial preparation
Requirements:
- 3+ years of recent experience in complex bankruptcy matters – Chapters 7, 11, and 13 required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $85,000-$130,000 per year depending on experience.
