Job Title: Assistant Construction Manager
Locations: Glen Allen, VA
Duration: (12+ months with the possibility of extension)
Description:
- Construction Manager/Project Manager level experienced individual interested in a Construction Support role for the Generation Interconnection Program.
This role will provide construction support as outlined below as well as continuously look for growth opportunities to expand the construction support responsibilities and services
Required Skill sets
- 5+ Years Electrical T&D Field Construction Management experience overseeing and managing construction Safety, Quality, Scope, Cost, Production, Schedule, Site Logistics & Coordination, and Client Representative/Contractor Interfacing.
- 5+ Year Electrical T&D Construction Project Management Experience managing construction Safety, Quality, Prime/Subcontracts, Scope, Cost, Production, Schedule.
- Knowledge in understanding and interpreting Substation, Transmission line, Telecom and System Protection construction and design
- Industry knowledge and understanding of Safety and Quality for compliance, with the ability to apply Client and BMcD requirements as needed.
- Ability to establish, maintain and build on relationships with Client field and office personnel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate across different levels of management.
- Proficient computer skills to navigate program databases, generate Microsoft documents, outage plans, presentations, emails, and locate various project information.
