Entrusted Advisors is actively seeking talented Corporate Paralegals to join our talent bench and support our Big Tech client's in-house corporate legal department.
We have an immediate need for a temporary engagement - duration is 6 months!
Qualifications
- This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate paralegal
- To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate paralegal - in house experience required
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, and correspondence
- Extensive knowledge of corporate governance matters and compliance regulations
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to apply legal concepts in a practical manner
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
- MUST BE BASED IN CALIFORNIA OR IN PACIFIC TIME ZONE
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of corporate law, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, corporate disclosures, (disclosure controls and procedures (DCPs), and someone who can help with those controls and implementing the policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- As a Corporate Paralegal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
- Assisting with corporate governance matters, including preparing board resolutions, maintaining corporate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Conducting legal research and analysis as required to support ongoing projects and initiatives
- Collaborating with the legal team to manage and resolve complex legal issues
- Facilitating communication and coordination with external counsel and other stakeholders
- Ensuring all corporate legal processes and documents are effectively managed and securely stored
