SMT Lead Process Engineer
Onsite in Melbourne, FL
Salary: $65-85K
Skills needed for interacting with Engineering, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and suppliers
1. ODB+ file import and checking
2. Run design for Assembly checks (DFA)
3. Run design for Manufacturing checks (DFM)
4. Verify design of Panel/Array for PCB
5. Ensure proper stencil for SMT build.
6. Work collaboratively on footprint design for components
7. Work collaboratively on Geometry or parts that will need either overprint or underpint on stencils for SMT
Skills needed for SMT line and working with (Engineering)
1. Reflow profiles
2. Types of Solders, solder balls and Manafucturers of solder
3. High pin count and design packages BGA's .3, .4, .5mm
4. Experience with Highly dense designs. Minimum component spacing
5. Minimum and Maximum allowed Panel/Array for running SMT
6. Know and understand different thickness of stencils
7. Know and understand different coatings of the stencils
8. AOI setup, programming and learning
