Litigation Secretary
Location: Century City, CA
Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 per year plus Generous Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time and Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401k, etc.
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite
LHH is working with a reputable law firm in seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Secretary to join their team in Century City, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on business, commercial, and products liability litigation cases.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of civil litigation support, including e-filing in state and federal courts.
- Prepare Table of Authorities (TOA) and Table of Contents (TOC) for legal documents.
- Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and manage deadlines for attorneys.
- Handle expense reports and billing tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Civil Litigation Secretary.
- Extensive experience in business, commercial, and products liability litigation.
- Proficiency in e-filing procedures for state and federal courts.
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with legal software such as iManage, MS Office 2016, Compulaw, and Prolaw.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with calendaring, expensing, and billing processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
