Type: 1 Year Contract (Possible Extension)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for small and large molecule analysis using HPLC/UPLC, CE, and other biochemical techniques.
- Conduct routine laboratory testing, including separation and characterization of molecules using methods such as SEC, HIC, IEX, and RP.
- Process, document, and report scientific data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents, perform instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols and documenting all procedures and results in electronic notebooks.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field with at least 1 year of experience, or M.S. with a minimum of 3 years, or B.S. with a minimum of 5 years in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Hands-on experience and strong knowledge of laboratory techniques such as HPLC/UPLC (including SEC, HIC, IEX, and RP), CE, cIEF, and Simple Western.
- Proficiency with laboratory software such as Empower, 32 Carat, and Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with additional techniques and equipment such as MALS, DLS, Zeta Potential, and various detection methods (e.g., RI/UV and CAD) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and capability to manage complex tasks under tight deadlines.
