About the Role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Mills James, you'll play a pivotal role in our sales strategy. Your mission? To seek out potential clients, generate fresh business leads, and shepherd those leads through the sales pipeline. You'll collaborate closely with our Director of Business Development and Chief Sales Officer, making a significant impact on our sales performance and company growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Scout and identify potential customers, targeting advertising agencies, marketing firms, and corporate clients.
- Contact and qualify prospects, setting appointments and following up on leads.
- Track your progress and strive to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Work alongside the sales team to craft strategies for hitting targets.
- Manage leads and sales activities using CRM software (HUBSPOT).
- Stay informed on market trends, competition, and industry developments.
- Network at events and trade shows to forge relationships and generate leads.
- Provide management with regular reports on your sales activities and results.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience:2-3 years in sales or customer service with a focus on video production services within an agency setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (HUBSPOT experience is a bonus), excellent verbal and written communication, strong understanding of video production processes and industry best practices, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Sales Savvy:Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, coupled with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Personal Traits: Exceptional time management, organizational skills, independence, teamwork, flexibility, adaptability, and a burning desire to grow in the sales field.
