We’re looking for an Apparel Technical Designer to support our Design team. This role requires an excellent eye for detail and an understanding of garment construction. The position is on-site and based in Los Angeles, CA.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Creating tech packs for overseas factories and vendors
- Processing garments and samples for fitting
- Attending fittings with designers
- Releasing fit notes and comments to factory contacts
- Email correspondence with sales, customer service, production, and factories
- Working with grading department to release final graded production spec sheets to factories
- Perform fabric tests
Candidate Requirements:
- Proficient in Illustrator, excel knowledge, PLM
- 4+ years’ experience as a technical designer
- Apparel industry experience
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast environment
