Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and driven Associate Legal Counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in the field of wage and hour class action litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on wage and hour class action cases.
- Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies for class action lawsuits.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding employment and compensation.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on wage and hour matters.
- Stay abreast of developments in class action litigation and wage and hour law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in class action litigation, with a focus on wage and hour cases.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record of managing multiple cases and meeting deadlines.
