The Position is accountable for the quality, safety, production, and environmental housekeeping of the shift while optimizing efficiency in accordance with corporate and state regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to site manager and working with cross functional teams to for develop, implement, and measuring processes related to cost reduction, operational optimization, and quality.
- Implement best practices in order to assure plant productivity, process improvement and safety goals are met.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge in continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma
- Associates Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Strong leadership, sharp communicator, and problem-solving skills
