Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and provide counseling as needed. Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment and managing employee questions and issues related to benefits.
- Performance Management: Assist with performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on career development plans and performance improvement initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date employee records.
- Policy Implementation: Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, ensuring alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
- Training and Development: Assist in organizing and facilitating training programs for employee development.
- HR Reporting: Prepare and analyze HR reports as needed for management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in human resources or a related role.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- SHRM or PHR certification preferred but not required.
