The Cultured Production Supervisor of the Modesto location has the role of providing direction for all department employees to ensure the operation runs efficiently and effectively. The position resolves union employee concerns, management request, cooperates with multiple departments and effectively manages workload responsibilities. The incumbent establishes and maintains and effective working relationship with all parties and leads and effective and productive department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Ensure proper quality control testing procedures are performed through monitoring and recording
· Supervises and schedules employees of department area
· Ensures equipment maintenance issues are resolved in time effective schedules
· Leads team to ensure product quality at all times
· Cooperates in research and development of new products to ensure success
· Effectively order and lead inventory process for ingredients and needed materials to consistently meet operating goals and timelines
· Cooperate and participate in the continuous improvement initiatives through leadership of department team
· Maintain and manage the payroll system involving the direct department reports
· Participate in the training and development of team members
· Effectively respond scheduling changes and concerns within team
· Effectively respond to changes and concerns involving consumer and vendor needs along with any equipment concerns
QUALIFICATIONS:

· Technical experience in cultured products, milk pasteurization and product development
· Experience in quality control in manufacturing and food area

· Proven multi-tasking and organizational skills
· Position requires incumbent to have ability to embrace new programs, procedures and policy through company's commitment to remaining competitive, efficient and effective.
· Ability to respond to changes in planned scheduled and timelines to direct team to remain productive and efficient at all times
· Experience working with mechanical machinery
