MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT). Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as a Facilities Coordinator.
Major purpose:
Provide Preventative & Reactive maintenance on facilities equipment and grounds.
Limited Preventative & Reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Routine Inspections of Fire Safety Systems.
Routing Inspections of Facility and Grounds.
Basic Carpentry and maintenance of facility physical structure.
Coordinating with vendors on contracted work.
Major functions:
Basic trouble shooting/repairs on Electrical, Plumbing, walls & floors.
Utilizing ladders and lifts.
Understanding of applicable health and safety regulations and industrial standards and practices such as NFPA, DOT, ANSI, OSHA, etc.
Proficient computer skills and MS Office.
Technical/Functional skills:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with using a facility and equipment CMMS (e.g. Faciliworks)
OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and/or other related education or professional credentials a plus.
HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical certifications a plus.
