Flowtec is actively recruiting for a Senior Reliability Engineer who will be responsible for improving the reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, and systems within our organization. This role involves conducting detailed analysis of failures, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance equipment life and performance. The Reliability Engineer will work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure optimal equipment uptime and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day direction to the Reliability representatives, technicians, specialists and engineers, and provide technical and operational support
- Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies, including predictive and preventive maintenance programs
- Work with the maintenance team to optimize maintenance schedules and tasks, reducing downtime and extending equipment life
- Participate in design reviews to ensure new equipment and systems are designed for reliability, maintainability, and safety
- Interact with client contacts for the timely completion of recurring contracts, with acceptable notice for RS personnel. Keep a daily calendar of upcoming needs, which personnel will fulfill the need and daily location of RS personnel
- Provide the necessary information needed to Inside Sales to compile a Proposal
- Ensure all personnel are certified on the appropriate Emerson Reliability training
- Responsible for communicating company deliverables to the client and for the accuracy and the timeliness of all internal and external. Assumes responsibility for communication and education between the company and clients. communications and reporting. Ability to submit documented case studies for customer
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant professional work experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership/management experience
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering from an accredited University, preferred focus in Mechanical Engineering
- Understand the fundamentals of most all rotating equipment in an industrial facility
- Extensive knowledge of a minimum of two of the widely used reliability technologies:
- Lifecycle Services Orientation
- Cyber Security Concerns when using Removable Mass Storage Devices
