6+ months, with potential to convert to FTE
On a W2 basis ONLY (no corp to corp or 1099)
Pay: $65-$70hr W2
Must have specific Workday experience around Payroll and Benefits Configurations. They will be changing deductions and helping with reporting regarding these changes.
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Configuration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in configuring payroll and benefits systems, with a specific focus on changing deductions and generating reports on these changes. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate payroll processing and effective benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Configuration: Adjust and configure payroll settings to reflect new or modified deductions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Benefits Configuration: Manage and update benefits settings, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Deduction Management: Implement changes to employee deductions, such as health insurance premiums, retirement contributions, and other voluntary deductions.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain reports to track and display changes in deductions, providing clear and detailed information to stakeholders.
- Data Analysis: Analyze payroll and benefits data to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to payroll and benefits configurations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll and benefits configuration.
