We are looking for a detailed and reliable Digital Projects Manager to manage digital marketing and advertising projects for BMC and its clients ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet/exceed client objectives. An energetic and self-motivated individual that will thrive in this position. Projects involve video production, website development, email marketing, webinars, and live programs.
What a day in the life of a Digital Project Manager looks like:
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Client Management & Communication
- Serve as point of contact for clients throughout the full project cycle
- Manage expectations of client regarding scope, timeline of project, and billing
- Understand client processes and priorities, medical/legal/compliance practices, and keeping these in mind when leading our internal team in executing projects
- Ensure out of scope items are handled appropriately and communicated to client
- Ensure changes to timeline due to internal or external events are communicated to client
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and facilitate decisions when leading internal and client meetings
Project Management
- Effectively communicate client goals with internal teams including creative design, web development, video and audio production, and performance/analytics
- Utilize project planning tools (Basecamp preferred) to manage multiple-project workflow in a deadline-driven environment
- Plan and execute interconnected tasks in parallel
- Ensure project details are accurate
- Support senior team members with large or complex projects
- Schedule and manage video production shoots (in-person and virtual)
- Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the internal teams
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and adherence to best practices for managing projects
- Develop a basic understanding of medical terminology, product landscape, and disease states
What we expect from qualified candidates:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years’ experience working in a digital agency (Healthcare agency preferred)
- Experience with project management tools used for task/time/resource management
- Strong experience in scoping, producing project estimates, developing timelines and project plans, and financial tracking
- A customer service orientation and great interpersonal skills
- Highly accountable, solution-oriented, and detail oriented
- Technically savvy and proactive about independently learning new developments in the internet industry and digital space
- Proficiency of Microsoft Suite and Google Docs
- Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics and digital marketing strategies
- Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
- Ability to travel up to 30%
