This position is open to applicants or individuals who are located in or around Groveport, OH with flexibility for longer hours based off of business and peak needs.
The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor is a key leadership role in our growing 3PL operation which includes Wholesale customers. Key responsibilities will be to support managing a multi-client operation to include D2C and B2B fulfillment. This position will oversee several associates.
This is an exciting new opportunity for a true results oriented, creative, motivational leader in our site. This position will be responsible for a large component of the operations within our Third Party Logistics Company servicing multiple clients in a 765,000 square foot facility.
What you’ll do:
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all aspects of outbound operations.
- Effective and prompt communication of key issues to clients, internal customer service representatives as well as other fulfillment center departments to ensure that all are aware of any outbound processing concerns.
- Scheduling and management of labor models including matching of labor to forecasted requirements, appropriate oversight of key performance indicators and ability to motivate and improve departmental performance.
- Ensuring that all management and team members are appropriately trained in our warehouse management system and follow all SOP’s, achieve UPH targets and operate as a cohesive unit.
- Development of weekly plans incorporating client forecasts, UPH analysis and capacity requirements.
- Support the company’s growth objectives by effectively communicating any capacity constraints or improvements needed to improve efficiency and throughputs.
- Ability to build an effective team including, retaining of key team members, eliminating safety obstacles, instilling pride in the departments supervised and ensuring effective communications on a regular basis.

What you’ve done:
- 3+ years progressive operational experience in an eCommerce fulfillment, B2B Wholesale or similar logistics distribution environment.
- 1+ years of supervisory or lead experience in which you motivated, trained and led your team into performing at extraordinary levels.
- Systems experience with WMS, OMS, Excel, and other Office applications.
- High School diploma or GED.
Top Candidates will also have:
- 2+ years in a Inbound/Outbound Operations role
- You have successfully utilized data to support decisions and drive success in your responsible areas
- Prior 3PL operations experience.
- Prior B2B wholesale experience
Physical Demands:
- Shift: 1st Shift - 6:00AM-2:30PM (may change during peak season)
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Able to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).
- Able to lift and carry up to 30-50 lbs. on occasion.
- Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.
- Able to work overtime.
