Ward Electric Company, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a full-time Material Coordinator. This position is based out of the company’s Denver Yard.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
-Oversee material requests, orders, shipments, and inspections
-Coordinate the receipt, storage and distribution of material for Denver Yard Crews
-Receive, track, stock and disburse materials, supplies, and equipment
-Maintain adequate inventory and ensure accuracy of records
-Oversight of all products and materials within Ward Electric’s Denver Yard
-Ultimately responsible for verifying delivery quality, checking for damaged goods, and routing to the appropriate individual, group, or area
-Responsible for maintaining an organized yard
-Schedule will primarily be M-F with weekends off
Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
-Valid Driver’s License, CDL a plus
-Self-motivated
-Inventory & Time Management
-Detail oriented
-Logistics
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Analysis and problem-solving skills
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
-Willingness to work in a team environment
-Ability to pass a drug test and background check
-Familiarity with material handling equipment
-Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required
-Familiarity with industry and industry materials, a plus
