Our client is a growing company that provides connectivity solutions that enhance the us of AI and Cloud. They are currently looking to add a Principal Security Engineer to their team to take ownership of their security posture. Qualifications:
- Must be able to come into the office 5x/week in Santa Clara, CA (flexible working hours provided)
- 10+ years of experience with Cybersecurity with at least 5 in a senior or leadership role
- Has worked with AWS services (i.e. IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, WAF, etc.)
- Experience with security tools focused on SIEM, Firewall, IDP/IPS, Encryption, Vulnerability Management, IAM, and Risk Assessment
- Experience securing M365 in an AWS environment highly preferred
- CISSP, ISCO, GIAC, or AWS Certified Security Specialty highly preferred
Job Description:
- Take ownership of M365 security in an AWS environment
- Develop security policies and procedures focused on data protection and compliance for the company
- Lead and own the design, implementation, and management of security measures focused on IT, cloud infrastructure, and products
- Oversee and conduct risk assessments, vulnerability / remediation, incident response planning, and security solutions and tools such as SIEM, IDPS, IAM, and MDM
- Assist in the delivery of training programs for security and IT personnel
